Sometimes, when we are considering a procedure, we don’t know where to turn for advice. It can help to see that someone else has gone through the same procedure successfully. And it’s even better when it is chronicled in a step-by-step format. In the case of a Mommy Makeover, new mothers are often overwhelmed enough with caring for their new baby – and could use the added confidence of learning from another mom who is willing to share their experience, to make it easier for others.
For those who are not completely clear on the concept of a “Mommy Makeover”; it is a combined procedure that includes: liposuction, a breast lift or augmenation and tummy tuck. A new mother is concerned about her baby, certainly, but it is also important for to feel attractive, as well. It is perfectly normal to want the best for ourselves, and to be able to merge our own needs with those of our family.

Emily's Mommy Makeover
We found a site by Emily McBee, a young mother of two, who worked hard with diet and exercise – but, just could not get her figure back to where she wanted it, again. She found a supportive friend to take ‘before pictures’ (and hold her hand…girlfriends are wonderful, aren’t they?) so that other women, considering the procedure, could follow along, and make their own informed decisions about whether a Mommy Makeover is for them. You can read more about her experience at emilysmommymakeover.com. She also has a book / e-book available and $2 of each sale is donated to breast cancer research.
